Zhin (ژین, Life) is designed specifically support zhina font family, featuring four unique styles. The initial two styles, zhin regular and zhin LP regular, reflect classical Arabic typefaces. In all styles, the capitalized (Isolated) letters have been modified from their traditional horizontally extended shapes to a vertically extended configuration. This adjustment has been made to create a visually cohesive appearance that is especially suitable for horizontal text composition.

The zhin LP (Less Point) regular is the only style in this font family that reduces dots, replacing glyphs with two or more dots with a new shape that has no dots.

The zhin MC (Mixed Case) regular font effectively emulates Latin typographic styles, enabling users to switch between lowercase (Initial) and uppercase (Isolated) letters via a software Caps Lock key. This software-based Caps Lock functionality may be activated or deactivated by inputting the Tatweel character. more…
