About
ZanjirBof (زنجیرباف, ChainWeaver) is a font family that has been developed based on the proposed perso-arabic writing system, carefully crafted with the aesthetic appeal of the resulting script in consideration.
In contrast to traditional Arabic connected font styles, all five font styles within this family exhibit a disconnected design. Furthermore, the shapes of the capital (isolated) letters have been modified to impart a more harmonious aesthetic.
The zanjirbof LP (Less Point) denotes the dot-reduced version, wherein glyphs containing two or more dots are substituted with new dotless shapes. It is important to note that, with the exception of the zanjirbof regular style, all other styles utilize the reduced dots alphabet.
The zanjirbof MC (Mixed Case) mimics Latin fonts, allowing typists to select between lowercase and uppercase letters using a software Caps Lock key. This software Caps Lock feature can be activated or deactivated by entering the Tatweel letter. more…
The last two styles are Small Caps (zanjirbof SC) and All Caps (zanjirbof AC) versions of this font family.
Additional related styles are available in the zanjir font family.
This font family is inspired by the Radio 178.5 bold style.
