The journey of creating UT Sangeth was an exploration of how to infuse personality into precise letterforms. The core inspiration stemmed from a desire to blend the unexpected with the familiar, to find a balance between playful disruption and inviting warmth.

Our exploration began with the fascinating concept of “reverse contrast” turning typographic norms on their head to create immediate visual intrigue. But it wasn’t enough for it to just be different; it had to feel friendly and approachable. This led us to the rounded shapes and quirky details, which were directly inspired by a sense of childlike wonder and the ambition to inject a truly playful spirit into every character.
