NiSha (نیشا, Gemma and also Cue “in memory of Nika Shakarami“) includes three styles that enhance the nikasha font family. The first two styles, nisha Regular and nisha LP Regular, feature a connected design of typical traditional Arabic fonts, while nisha MC Regular maintains a semi-connected style.

The nisha LP (Less Point) refers to a version of the typeface where glyphs that contain two or more dots are replaced with new shapes that do not include any dots.

The nisha MC (Mixed Case) font mimics Latin fonts, enabling typists to choose between lowercase (Initial) and uppercase (Isolated) letters using a software Caps Lock key. This software Caps Lock feature can be activated or deactivated by pressing the Tatweel letter. more…

The Latin portion of this font family is based on the RockyBilly font with a slice modification. Therefore, please ensure you have the proper licensing if you plan to use it in commercial projects. However, the Perso-Arabic portion is completely free for any use.
