‘Hutan Lestari’ is the second version of ‘Hutan’ font. Hutan Lestari means ‘preserved forest’. The inspiration comes from the shape of young leave bud. I created the second version after the previous font had been used in a publication of volunteers first gathering on Earth Hour, Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. In seeing the inferior previous font’s quality, i feel responsible to create a better one.
