About

Translation of the original German description: It was the early 1930s, a wild time of upheaval that ultimately led to the dictatorship in Germany, but for many it came as a bulwark against the chaos. During this time some interesting advertising letterings were created, which were developed from the German kurrent. The lettering was quite nice, but the name was accordingly sappy for the time. So when I modeled this font, I I was looking for a more appropriate name from today’s perspective. I have received a lot of suggestions, and the winner was “Goldmarie”.
