Derbyshire is a display font influenced by the work of electronic music pioneer Delia Derbyshire.

The font is a lowercase Latin glyph set with a high contrast and asymmetrical letterform anatomy reflecting the abstract, dynamic and spontaneous nature of Delia’s music; alongside its adorned, flourished appearance which is a showcase of the dichotomy between musical convention with Delia’s innovation.

This was a project done within my second year of study at Coventry University.
