Acari Sans (named after a fish native from Central and South America, also referred to as ‘cascudo’) is a sans-serif, grotesk font forked from HK Grotesk Cyrillic. This font was born after the upstream fonts lost Cyrillic support, so in April 2018 we decided to fork that font. It is inspired by classic grotesques, and it has nine weights with matching italics.

In November 13, 2023, Acari Sans was remastered to be a variable font.
